Son of Beast roller coaster

Touted to be one of the fastest and tallest roller coasters in the world, this one is built at Kings Island. It is located at Mason in Ohio which is on the outskirts of Cincinnati. It is the only wooden car with a vertical loop that incorporates trademark beastly growling noises.

 

Manta roller coaster

This one has not rolled out as yet but it will hit the track in 2012 at SeaWorld in San Diego. Screening of gigantic rays and marine displays set this one apart from others.

 

Ferrari roller coaster – worlds fastest roller coaster

The fastest speedster, even amongst roller coasters, is from brand Ferrari. Dubbed as Formula Rossa, it will race at a theme park in Abu Dhabi. It uses a technology applied in fighter jets known as the hydraulic launch system to propel the car at a mind boggling speed of 150 mph in just 4.9 seconds.
